soshctrl

You are handing us the keys.

soshctrl learns from your accounts and posts for you. Here, in plain words, is how we keep your accounts and your work safe.

Your accounts stay yours. Locked, private, yours to switch off.

Your logins stay locked.

We never ask for your password. You sign in on YouTube’s or Instagram’s own page, and your password never reaches us. The permission slip each platform hands us is stored scrambled, so it could not be read. Disconnect any time and we stop posting straight away.

Nobody else can see your account.

Your things stay yours

Your posts, files and numbers are walled off. Nobody else using soshctrl can reach them.

Sign in, or nothing opens

Almost nothing opens unless you are signed in. The few things that do are a short list we watch.

Everything is written down

Every change is noted: what changed, who changed it and when. So we can tell you what happened.

What we do today

  • Everything between you and us travels down a locked line

  • We block floods of traffic and automated abuse

  • Limits stop anything running away with your allowance

  • We only use social media information that is already public

  • Our fault reports leave out anything private about you

  • If something goes wrong, we have a plan and we tell you within three days

  • Our keys are kept well away from the code we write

What we do not claim

  • We have not been through the big outside security inspections yet.

  • We do not promise the site is never down.

  • We have no outside break-in test to show you yet.

  • Nobody can promise perfect safety. So we will not.

Take your data. Or erase it.

  • Get a copy

Ask us, and within a month you get a file with everything we hold about you.

  • Delete it all

Close your account in Settings. Within 30 days your data is wiped, apart from the records the tax office makes us keep.

  • How long we keep things

Records of what ran, about three months. Billing records, seven years. The full list is in the Privacy Policy.

  • Who helps us

Other companies help us run soshctrl. If we add one, we tell you 14 days beforehand, and business customers can say no.

The short answers.

Where is my data kept?

In Europe. A few of the companies we use are in the United States, under a contract that keeps the European rules in place. Details in the Privacy Policy.

Do you use my content to teach your AI?

No. And we never sell anything about you. What you write goes to the AI for one reason only: to make the thing you asked for.

How do I delete my account and everything in it?

Close it in Settings. Within 30 days everything is wiped, apart from billing records we have to keep for seven years. Posts that already went out stay on your own accounts.

Can you sign a data agreement for my business?

Yes. That is a contract setting out how we handle your data. Ask for one through the contact form.
